The North Branch Minnesota Business Community is launching a new program entitled, "North Branch Business Gives Back." This is a program through which some of the money you spend at the businesses shown on this page is returned to the church of your choice. The North Branch business community recognizes the need to financially support our community churches and other charitable organizations and will do so, in cash, as a result of your transactions at these businesses.
The illustration to the left is intended to show businesses and consumers and charitable organizations working together. Local businesses are signing on to this activity and those business participants are shown below. Each "business card" is a link. Simply click on the business (card) you are interested in and a little window will appear explaining what that business is prepared to do as a part of this effort. The little window that pops up also contains a link to that businesses website where you may find sales, discounts, or other information regarding the products or services they offer. Your support of local business through which you receive the products or services you need in turn helps support area churches and other charitable organizations that, in turn, support the community's spiritual and other needs.
How it works...
You, the consumer, go to a church, or other charitable organization. There, you pick up an NBBGIVESBACK membership card. The card will have the name and/or logo of your church or organization on it along with a line upon which you put your name. The back of the card will have both the web address of the church or charitable organization (if applicable) and the web address of NBBGIVESBACK. Simply bring this card with you when you go shopping in North Branch. If, for example, you go to ABC Business to purchase a widget, and ABC Business is a participating member of NBBGIVESBACK, you give your card to them when you make your purchase. That simple act will set in motion the process through which your church or charitable organization receives money!
The actual reward that will go to your church or charitable organization is up to the participating business. You can learn what these businesses have agreed to do by scrolling down this page to the area wherein the businesses are described by logo or business card. Click on a card or logo and a pop-up window will display explaining to you what this particular business is prepared to do in this program. In this smaller window, you will also be presented with a link to that business's website. Go to their website where you may find discounts or other special incentives.
